ACOTAR is back | Sarah J Maas revealed the titles of the next two books in the series | I AM NOT OKAY

There are few things capable of bringing almost the entire bookish community together quite like Sarah J. Maas announcing that she is bringing back our favorite bat boys.

After what feels like eternity (it was four years, btw) of waiting, re-reading, examining every theory online and cackling over millions of memes, we will be rewarded for our dedication to Prythian (and the bat boys. I will never forget the bat boys).

Sarah J. Maas has officially revealed the next two books in the A Court of Thorns and Roses universe, and they are coming much sooner than I was mentally prepared for:

The sixth book A COURT OF SPLINTERED HARMONY is releasing on 27 October 2026.

The seventh book A COURT OF FORGOTTEN MELODY is arriving on 12 January 2027.

Both books form part of a new story arc called The Valkyrie Cycle (Movement I and Movement II & III).

The Valkyrie Cycle | The theories have already started

We don't yet know who exactly will be the primary protagonists of these new books in the ACOTAR series.

The Valkyries, an ancient tradition of powerful female warriors, were introduced in A Court of Silver Flames primarily through Nesta, Gwyn and Emerie.

And I am hoping that The Valkyrie Cycle and its movements will create an interesting shift in the universe - the women creating their own power structures instead of simply existing in the world where systems were controlled by kings, courts or simply men.

Well, I spent a large part of my day yesterday going through a bunch of theories and everything seemed to fit in and not fit at the same time.

Plus, there is also an untitled conclusion to this arc.

While the sixth book is listed at 352 pages, the seventh book is listed at a whopping 896 pages.

SJM knew we'd be opting out of our regular lives to devour these books. She's a 100% right!

So, what are we ACOTAR fans going to do now?

Well,if you haven't read the series in a while, this is probably the eprfect excuse to revisit Prythian before Koschie unleashes hell on our babies.
